Issaqueena Festival/Music Fest

 

The Issaqueena Festival will be held in downtown Six Mile on May 17, 2025.  FREE entertainment is provided for both adults and children, including a FREE kids zone! Bring your blanket or chair, there is plenty of room to sit down and enjoy. Representatives from the Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation will have craft items for sale, perform dances, and tell stories that have been passed down from their ancestors. Food vendors and arts and crafts vendors will line North Main Street. Vendor applications will be accepted starting sometime in February. Each vendor must provide his or her own table and tent. Limited water and electrical hook-ups are available.

Six Mile Farmer’s Depot

Located at 116 N. Main Street at the Stoddard Pavilion

Summer Farmer's Market season has ended for 2024. Follow our Facebook and Instagram for information about our upcoming Holiday Markets.  The summer Farmers Depot will reopen April 29, 2025, and will be held every Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. until the end of September.  Bring a chair, chat with old and new friends, buy some local products and join us! Inside vendors rain or shine. $6 fee for a day or $35 for a season.

Memorial Day Celebration

​

The Town will honor our fallen heroes on traditional Memorial Day at Six Mile Town Hall.  The public is invited to attend.

Independence Day Celebration

​

Independence Day Celebration will be held at Ponderosa Park. Time and Date for 2025 is TBD. A schedule of events will include a bicycle parade and, of course, FIREWORKS!!!

Community Trick or Treat

​

Time and Date for 2025 is TBD. A community trick or treat is held along Main Street when businesses and community members will be giving out candy and goodies. Local churches will also be represented with booths or “trunks”. Trick or Treat on Main Street is always a safe and enjoyable time for the Six Mile community and its neighbors. Call town hall or check the Six Mile Trick or Treat on Main Street Facebook page for details. There's something new every year!

Christmas Events

 

The Six Mile Farmers Depot Christmas Market  Time and Date for 2025 is TBD.

 

Old Fashioned Christmas will be held at 6pm at the Pavillion in downtown Six Mile.  Time and Date for 2025 is TBD.  This is a holiday tradition in Six Mile which brings the sights and sounds of the season.

The 53rd Annual Christmas Parade  Time and Date for 2025 is TBD.
